I Graduated!

Wow, college really FLEW by. It's so surreal to be done with undergrad–– let me tell you, it never feels like it is going to be over until it's over. Rollins was the best place on Earth for the past three years of my life, and I would not trade it for the world. I made lifelong friends, experienced a valuable education, and fell in love with the town of Winter Park. I could not have done it without the support of my loving friends and family along the way. Three years ago, I was scared as hell to transfer to a place I had visited once, and that scary decision was the best one I have made in my life. My advice to all of my readers: just do it. Nike knows, I know, you know–– it's worth it.

A ton of y'all are asking about my plans now that I am done with school. Next Wednesday, I am hopping on a plane to Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and to also participate in a field study led by Rollins for three weeks. Even though I had plenty of credits to graduate, I decided that I could not pass up such a good opportunity to learn about the communities surrounding Kilimanjaro and to also learn about myself. After Tanzania, I will be working for Michael Kors until I figure out what I want to do next and where I want to move–– Savannah is serving as a good home base right now, but I want to ultimately live somewhere else!
